Reponynphomania is the latest single taken from Octopuss new album A Nut For A Jar Of Tuna, and it's an unpredictable cavalcade of heavy sounds, in which hard rock, crossover and funk have a kind of orgy.

Octopuss are a rare kind of band who do not celebrate or worship rock music, but just live it.

Their story is very peculiar. Born in Italy, for a series of coincidences they became very big - and I mean huge - in China, playing 10 tours ending up in packed stadiums and being even invited on national TV.

On the other side of Pacific Ocean, their second (or third?) home is California. After playing The Viper Room and The Cat Club in Hollywood, they moved to L.A. for a while, invited to legendary Shangri-La Studios, in Malibu, by Beej Chaney (singer/guitarist from The Suburbs) for the recording sessions of their highly anticipated new album “A Nut For A Jar of Tuna”.

The album, produced and mixed with multiplatinum British producer Gary Miller (David Bowie, Simply Red, Slash & Fergie, Lionel Richie, Donna Summer, …), with the collaboration of Beej Chaney and Eric Lynn (sound engineer – among the others, on Ed Sheeran’s, Metallica’s, Eminem’s, Neil Young’s albums, …) has been released in Europe on May 2022.

With travels to China having been very uncertain because of pandemic, for Octopuss is now the time to arouse a fanbase in the Old Continent.
