"Everything is only ruins from the future, a stratum for another layer"
The theme of coming to terms with death, treated in his previous EP1 (released on December 2021), returns in Debris, where acceptance is the outcome of the healing process.
After dealing with an overwhelming pain, disconnection from reality can occur and you separate yourself from your emotions, just observing the ruins all around you.
When you are detached from yourself, only laconic notes are written, sometimes with complicated space-time references: we cannot recognize anymore those territories we were used to step on.
"The beauty of destroying beauty"
Debris seven tracks are marked with dates, an attempt to set fixed points in time, an aspiration for precise moments in the loop.
Musically speaking, Bad Pritt in this album has abandoned evocative electronic sounds and the slightly rhetorical pop of his debut album, steering toward much more raw sounds.
Tracks begin with a classic, delicate theme that is progressively unstructured and finally annihilated.
"A one man band/a global village orchestra"
Bad Pritt's sound aim to experimentation, it's inspired by neoclassical school and serial art.
On stage he uses countless devices and gloomy videos.
His homonymous debut album (released in 2018) and the most recent EP1 (co-produced with Ricco Label Japan at the end of 2021) have obtained more than positive feedback from professionals and the specialized press.
