PETROLIO ○ RESPIRA

There are experiences that leave a sign. A sign that should be carved, making it visible and perennial.

This music was born from a union as intense as it is fleeting,  a collaboration with AkAb, aka Gabriele Di Benedetto,  a talented artist for whom I had the honor of weaving sounds and noises for his short film within the “Film Fantasma” produced by Carboluce.

The theme of the short film is strong and destabilizing, and AkAb wanted the music to be a sound discourse in support of the narrating voice.

With more than 140 live performances in Italy and Europe, Petrolio is a solo project by 𝗘𝗻𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗼 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗼, a versatile artist able to move with ease between experimental music, soundtracks and compositions for the theatre.

In recent years, the artist has released numerous singles, ep and albums, playing throughout Europe, sharing the stage with artists of the caliber of 𝘓𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘶𝘢 𝘐𝘨𝘯𝘰𝘵𝘢, 𝘖𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘞𝘢𝘯𝘥 & 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘔𝘰𝘰𝘯, 𝘞𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘬𝘢̈𝘭𝘵𝘦, 𝘜𝘰𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘛𝘰𝘬𝘪, 𝘉𝘰𝘭𝘰𝘨𝘯𝘢 𝘝𝘪𝘰𝘭𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘢, 𝘔𝘢𝘪 𝘔𝘢𝘪 𝘔𝘢𝘪 𝘦 𝘗𝘢𝘯𝘬𝘰𝘸, and performing in international festivals such as ElektroAnschlag (D), Solo Macello (I), Re:Flexions (D), Audiotrauma Fest (CZ), Krakatoa IIII (I), Sajeta Festival (SI), Nancy Blast Frustration (F), S/Tones (I), Dunk!Fest (B), Hradby Samoty (SK), Fans Out (I), Diodrone Fest (I).

It boasts high profile collaborations with artists of the caliber of Jochen Arbeit (𝘌𝘪𝘯𝘴𝘵𝘶̈𝘳𝘻𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘦 𝘕𝘦𝘶𝘣𝘢𝘶𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘕𝘦𝘶𝘣𝘢𝘶𝘵𝘦𝘯 𝘕𝘦𝘶𝘣𝘢𝘶𝘵𝘦𝘯), Aidan Baker (𝘕𝘢𝘥𝘫𝘢), as well as many noble names of the Italian noise/industrial scene as Italian as Fabrizio Modonese Palumbo (𝘈𝘭𝘮𝘢𝘨𝘦𝘴𝘵!, 𝘉𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘥 𝘚𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳, 𝘊𝘰𝘺𝘱𝘶, 𝘊𝘰𝘺𝘱𝘶, 𝘓anzen, 𝘟𝘟𝘓), Sigillum S, Stefania Pedretti (𝘖𝘷𝘖, ?Alo𝘴) and Mai Mai.
