he new single by Kodaclips is both melancholic and energetic. Pirouette, the band’s second release of 2026, moves between moments of chaos and reflection, with arrangements drawing from post-punk and shoegaze.
Mixed by Andrea Volpato (Fox Recording Studio, Seattle) and mastered by Manuel Volpe (Okum Produzioni), the self-produced track perfectly reflects the moods and inspirations of Kodaclips' new lineup, exploring more experimental and de-structured sonic territories.
The song opens with a minimalist vocal approach that gradually dissolves into wordless harmonies, eventually giving way to a dense, post-rock–influenced instrumental section.
The release is accompanied by a music video inspired by the track’s title, Pirouette. Set in a rehearsal space, it shows the band performing amid vivid, fluid colors that blend into one another.
These sequences mix with processed footage of antique classical ballet performances, where overlaid figures move in sync with the music, as if guided by its rythm.
This video, filmed in Alablaster Studio in Rimini, was directed and edited by Linda Capuano and Samuele Bernardi, with cinematography by Martina Fabbri and Leonardo Gasperoni, two long-time friends of the band.
