Black Darling is the new single by Saint Mary Candy, released on Fat Sounds label and supported by a glam-tinged video clip by Georgia Palazzolo, celebrating The Rocky Horror Picture Show's iconic horror fun attitude.

The video was shot at the atelier Il Forni di Philippe Berson, located inside Vucciria, the famous colourful bazaar in the heart of Palermo's historic center.

With Black Darling Saint Mary Candy distance themselves from the ethereal and psychedelic sound of their debut album (2024), moving towards the noise rock of early Sonic Youth and the Breeders, propelled by a disruptive charge which proves their eclectic and edgy approach.

Saint Mary Candy is an Italian band born in Palermo, Sicily, at the beginning of the '20s.

The line up features Marco Barcellona (vocals and guitar), Laura Caviglia (Keyboards and Guitar), Camilla Acyole Belmonte (Percussion), Davide Di Giovanni (Bass) and Andrea Chentrens (Drums).

Their sound was shaped by 90's shoegaze and by the Psychedelic Rock of the 60s, ranging from dense and dreamy atmospheres to saturated and acid colors, and therefore producing a fully immersive and unpredictable live experience.

Their debut eponymous album was released in June 2024, followed by several concerts, including support slots for New Candys, Be Forest, I Hate My Village and Winstons.
