🎬 THE VIDEO
Bartleby (Rebellion): written and directed by Andrea Sperduti, starring Andrea Merolle, freely inspired byHerman Melville's short storyBartleby, the Scrivener. Melville wrote this tale back in 1853. Set in a New York City law office, the story follows Bartleby, an extraordinarily passive employee who, instead of responding to his employer's requests with a simple "yes" or "no," consistently replies with the enigmatic phrase: "I would prefer not to."
His silent rebellion becomes the focal point of the narrative.
Bartleby is the first single
from the fourth album by Modern Stars, titledTermination.
