Based in Messina (Sicily) The Whistling Heads are the new kids on the blocks.
Barely in their twenties, they released early September 2023 the ace debut album Dull Boy on Disasters by Choice, which you can listen here, followed in February by the single Well...I Mean, with a remix by Gabe Gurnsey from The Factory Floor.
The Whistling Heads already played more than 30 dates in Italy and a killer one week UK tour in April 2024.
Their new single Shut Me Up is a celebration of sadness as a means to grow and learn.

The video - directed by Gabriele Costa - showcases the boys' experiences during their first UK tour: "which taught us to be grateful for what we have in our lives, including our difficulties and insecurities."
Shut Me Up is an anthem of embracing melancholy as a transformative force. Anchored by a jittery synth riff and grounded by robust basslines and drumming, Shut Me Up echoes the raw angst of new wave, recast in monochrome for the modern age. Post-Punk.com (Video Premiere).
