SINGLE ○ How much scary is this?, Rain Taylor new single, is a controversial song, with a sarcastic and worn-out attitude, showcasing the songwriter’s personal views on existence.

The sound is heavy but tuneful, drawing ideas from both dark psychedelia and post-grunge. Rain Taylor’s musical influences are indeed mostly rooted into the British scene (Wu-Lu, Portishead, Marika Hackman).

Rain Taylor's Project is the nom de plume chosen by a young songwriter from Rimini (Italy). He was born at the tail end of 2001, and started Rain Taylor 20 years later, as an escape from despair during the pandemic lockdowns.

The plan wasn’t just to release music, but to use it as a link to create a community, as in the British post-grunge scene.

Rain Taylor released the album The Sing of the Wolf in 2021, followed by a string of singles and Eps (Roses and Cabin Fever, 2022), featuring obscure and sometimes disturbing ballads with often explicit lyrics, reflecting his disillusioned attitude towards society.

On stage, Rain Taylor is joined by Katia Giannini (bass), Luca Della Pasqua (drums), Alessandro Volanti (synths and keyboards).
