Sonic Jesus' just released on August 25th their new single Annoying Foal, the result of deep artistic research and technological experimentation, which has driven the band to new creative horizons.

The track, produced by Tiziano Veronese's new record label Don Rhajin, marks a significant step forward in Sonic Jesus' career, with its fusion of hypnotic sounds and futuristic visions. Annoying Foal is a haunting and introspective piece, with a dark, brooding atmosphere.

The lyrics, written by Marco Baldassari, are cryptic and suggestive, with the repeated phrase Did you heal me Lord? suggesting a search for meaning or salvation in the face of inner turmoil. The industrial-infused sound of the track provides an appropriate backdrop, with gritty electronic tones and driving percussion adding to the sense of urgency and tension. The repeated refrain serves as a kind of mantra, perhaps representing the inner demons that we must all confront in order to find peace and meaning in our lives.

Annoying Foal's video was entirely filmed, edited, and then processed in AI by the Moroccan artist Yousra. The universe they co-created with the machine is dreamlike, strange, and intriguing. A very specific, cinematic vision drawing from dystopian sci-fi.

The band found themselves intrigued by AI’s knack for conjuring visuals — both static and moving — in a manner both whimsical and unexpected. Sonic Jesus senses a genuine synergy between AI’s visuals and their music, enhancing the overall artistic sensation for their audience.

“We wanted to harness this technology to express our artistic message in an entirely new and engaging way - says the band -  The use of AI allowed us to create a synergy between our psychedelic sound and a stunning and unprecedented visual universe.”

Sonic Jesus is an Italian band born in Doganella di Ninfa, and is currently Tiziano Veronese's musical project. Since their debut, they have been acclaimed internationally, thanks to the release of their first EP, "Sonic Jesus," on Fuzz Club Records.

In 2012, they shared a split titled "Split Single N°5" with the Black Angels.
In 2015, they released a limited edition 7" vinyl containing a remix by Sonic Boom aka Pete Kember of the legendary Spacemen 3 and Spectrum.

Also in 2015, they released a double album titled "Neither Virtue Nor Anger" on Fuzz Club Records, which became the manifesto that crowned the band among the most acclaimed Italian and European psychedelic realities.

In 2017, they released "Grace," another album produced by Fuzz Club Records, which marked a reduction in the neo-psychedelic frequencies of their earlier work in favor of a newfound pop-wave sensitivity.

Their latest work dates back to 2018: "Memories," a self-produced album of old demos found.

Over the years, the band has performed live throughout Europe, sharing the stage with artists such as Jesus & Mary Chain, Damo Suzuki (CAN), A Place To Bury Stranger, Wire, and Dead Skeletons.
